King Hillary, a New Democrat cut straight from the now defunct Democratic Leadership Council is nothing more than an establishment Republican masquerading as a "progressive" Democrat. (which she only has contempt for)
So one would think the King would get along well with Republicans, but she doesn't. This even though she used to be one before Slick Willie turned her into a Southern Democrat. I think this is a Clinton thing. It's their way or the highway.
I don't think any of the establishment GOP would have much to do with Bernie. On the other hand, Bernie as Senator might work really well with President Trump.
Bill Clinton worked with Republicans many, many times and was praised for same.
We know the establishment Republicans hate Trump so I don't see that working too well either.
Neither would get anything passed. It would be a race to shove through executive orders. Hillary would screech about the mean Republicans every day. It would get so annoying.
I think Hillary would work very well with Congress. She's been in the White House, Congress and SoS, she knows all the roles and she's more moderate than Bernie. President Obama led the way on gay marriage (possibly with a Biden push) and she always supported health coverage but she's a bit more hawkish, which gives Democrats pause. That said, I don't fear Hillary as president, I think she's very smart and would do an excellent job. I think Bernie would be fun and say all the things we want to hear but Hillary would do what is possible.
