So in line with those who claim past elections predict future elections we have this.
After the amendment went into effect in 1945 that prevents a President from holding two terms, there has only been one case where a political party held the White House for more than 2 terms. This would be Reagan/Bush in 1988.
1946 - DEM
1952 - GOP
1956 - GOP
1960 - DEM
1964 - DEM
1968 - GOP
1972 - GOP
1976 - DEM
1980 - GOP
1984 - GOP
1988 - GOP <----- 3 terms
1992 - DEM
1996 - DEM
2000 - GOP <--------Selected by the Supreme Court & his brother Jeb!
Ah yes, historical patterns. They occur with 100% precision and that's why in some presidential election years, we simply don't bother with holding the election. That would be a waste of money and time.
2008: No Muslim Kenyan mulatto would ever be a POTUS!
You claim Obama has high approval rating. i.e. Ground Obama walks on turns to gold.
You dismiss Reagan as nobody beyond someone who makes America feel good about themselves. i.e. Bedtime for Bonzo was a Bozo.
So why is it that "high approval" Obama doesn't make America feel good? Electorate is angrier than it has ever been.
I don't think you made your case.
I didn't say the ground Obama walked on turned to gold, just simply refuting your assertion that "most americans think he's a terrible President." He's not perfect by annnnny stretch, but he's a far sight better than anyone currently running R or D.
Nor did I dismiss Reagan. Simply, he's only super duper awesome Saint Ronny in some reimagined version where you personally tears down the Berlin Wall.
Forget what? Al Gore conceded the election to Bush.
Al Gore lost the state of Florida due to the Nader vote and Bush won the electoral votes. Gore BTW, blames his loss on the Clintons and not due to political malfeasance by Florida officials.

His disapproval rating is in the mid to high 50s. His approval rating on the economy has been in the low 20s. By any measure, most Americans think he is doing a terrible job. On the other hand I support your right to believe anything you like about Obama.
In regards to Reagan, I only stated two facts. He did bring an end to the Cold War and it was a generally prosperous time compared to the 1970s. Was he perfect, nope. But in the future, Reagan will be remembered for having accomplished far more than Obama.
If you would vote for either Bernie or Clinton over Trump or any other Republican nominee, I'll repeat my sentiment.
I could careless if a person like you never votes for a Republican nominee again.
That makes no sense. If you can't get people like me to vote for Republicans in the future, along with Democrats and Independents who vote for Bernie or Hillary, the Republican Party might as well turn off the lights and lock the door. I'm sorry, there is no one running - no one - who I would not vote for over Trump. I have no desire for WWIII or the return of second class citizen status for non-white males.
