There, there. I fixed it for you.

Unfortunately, he is correct.

Nope. You got it wrong. Those are Trump's words; his opinion about his loyal fan club. There is no way to make it sound good or respectful towards his voters.

If you read it in context in full, you will see that "I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?" is Mr. Trump's opinion, not someone else's statement.

Mr. Trump is 100% correct, though.

Mick
Isn't he though?

Total crap.

He's smart enough to know what stupid people want to hear.

How does this make it better? Who is they? Trump just said that he could shoot someone and wouldn't lose any voters. It's unfortunately true and nothing his voters should be proud of.

Registered Democrats who identify as Republican. Needless to say, not a particularly large group.

Trump's favorability with Democrats overall is actually the worst of any GOP candidate.

It's satire arguably, only the group being skewered are Trump fans. Too bad they're too drunk on the kool-aid to realize it. They cheered when Trump made this statement.

I think even Trumpolini was taken aback by the blind loyalty of his supporters.

Hi, I'm sarcasm, nice to finally meet you!

You do know that right-wingers ironically refer to Obama as "Dear Leader" and "Messiah" , yes? Neither term is complimentary, and neither is "Mein Trumpf".

And I have ever seen one episode of The Apprentice. Which calls to remembrance - I have never liked nor respected him.

Wow, with that one sentence about shooting people and not losing votes, Trump just called all of his followers stupid and brainwashed and they probably don't even get that!

It's not even a joke anymore they ARE cult members. What's it going to take to deprogram them?

Trump is basically suggesting that his followers are like some sort of mindless automatons programmed to follow him. Like the Stepford wives or something. Also, not only does he seem to think that this is a good thing, but he expects his followers to think so to.

And apparently they do. As far as we can see, there is no pushback at all so far from these same followers. In fact, his faithful followers are all out actively defending him for these comments, as far as I can see.

He called his supporters 'smart people' before he said that. The context is exactly opposite of what you're saying.

WHERE I could stand, is a continuation of the statement "they say"..

The left I'm completely convinced has nothing more than a 2nd grade education.
