A week before Iowa.......I think he looking for a way to sabotage his campaign. He knows he'd be over his head as POTUS. He's tried everything....insult everyone, flip flop on issues, talk about shooting people and how gullible my people are.....and polls went up. This should be the ticket.....**** off Faux.
Actually the votes on his twitter page were 50-50. And this was not entirely about Megyn. He said tonight he came to Iowa to do the debate until that fat slob Ailes decided to do that stupid press release. How come nobody calls him out for being childish?

I don't think he is trying to lose, he honestly thinks he can win this way because he's always done that. He's always gotten away with it and now he won't. Simple as that.
Far from a sign of weakness, Trump sitting out exposes how small the rest of the field is. The main debate stage now looks like the kiddy table. Who are they going after now?
I'm not a Trump supporter, but I have to admire how he has completely played the media during this campaign. Expect to see the ratings for the next debate tumble, and the other candidates will have no good options. This may also be a warning shot to the GOP about an independent run.
You call this "adversity?" Before this people were taunting Trump why doesn't he carry out his threats to skip debates. When he does he is called a coward. Doesn't matter. Trump is in a different universe.
Uhm... the taunts were over him threatening to skip the debates like a big old baby. He is a coward. Does he really think the president of the United States only deals with people who like him? Part of me thinks he's trying to sabatoge his own campaign.

Actually, with the biggest manchild absent from the stage it can only raise the tenor and quality of the debate. And they will rip Trump to shreds in absentia.
Why do you need a debate if the person you are "debating" isn't even there? They will have to attack each other which is not a bad thing.
How many of these shows will we have. All these debates serves mostly as a way to a pissing contest.
There are real issues here, not just saying he said this about you, you said this. Look at all the debates, most of the time is spent pushing one against each other. Waste of time.
I say one debate a quarter is ok but when you have that many people on the stage, nothing good comes out of it. The media should probably do a maximum of 4 person each time. So divide the debates in 3 groups.
Otherwise a total waste.
Trump just wants the topic to be about him, everything should be about him. He puts himself first before anything. He probably sees that the moderator will either not give him the proper question or just make him look bad so his whole time would be spent defending himself (that he has a lot to do judging by his comments sometimes). So he probably will make a statement where he will say it's useless.
The best part? Fox News was going to ask Trump "hard" questions the other candidates can probably answer in their sleep. That would have made the hatchet job even more golden.
Trump has neither the brains nor the intestinal fortitude needed to be President.
Answering questions correctly, yet running the country straight into the ground. Yes, real golden.
Who cares, enough of these long winded debates already...
