Romney read the tea leaves (or delegate counts); McCain was on track to win. I think suspend means he expects to keep his delegates. I'm not sure what a couple of hundred delegates gets you when the other guy can win without you (for the Paul fans substitute "tens" for "couple of hundred")...

I expect Huckabee to drop out once Romney makes a formal announcement.

Kumbaya time.

Note that McCain gets a lifetime rating of 82 from the American Conservative Union, which is higher than one of my Senators, Shelby - AL.

I have to admit, I like Huck. He's a quick thinker and a slick talker. He's....Hmmm. On second thought, it seems a lot of ex-governors from Arkansas are like that...

Maybe I don't like the old Huckster so much after all....

Well crap. I am not a fan of McCain. Anyone who has to argue that they're conservative isn't conservative enough for me!

It means he can continue to raise funds, to try to recoup the $30M loan he gave the campaign.

I just started watching his speech now at CPAC. Maybe I missed something earlier, but it doesn't sound like he's suspending his campaign at all?

Same here. Sounds like he's just gearing up for a fight against Hillary.

C-Span 2 link is where he's at.
