Have you been alive or old enough to remember kids of presidents in the past. I do not think young kids belong on the campaign trail, but they always have been, back to Kennedy days and most of us got sick of seeing Amy. Regardless, yes, it should be "hands off" when it comes to the press.
Where are the Republicans attacking Obama's daughters?
And feel free to quote the attacks on Chelsea.
I'm sure that you'll find some by dusting off those ancient volumes in your partisan "memory bank."
Well said.
To be fair, there were attacks against Chelseas daughter when Clinton was President, which were low, and even other Republicans called it low and sick.. luckily they were rare..

Here is the most famous example:

“I get you’re both in those awful teen years, but you’re a part of the First Family – try showing a little class,” she wrote. “At least respect the part you play.” She added: “Then again, your mother and father don’t respect their positions very much, or the nation for that matter, so I’m guessing you’re coming up a little short in the 'good role model’ department.”

A partisan memory bank as in "Google"? lol
But I acknowledge that electronic devices are challenging for some, so just for fun, here are two:

McCain told a "joke" about Chelsea Clinton in 1998, saying: "Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly? Because her father is Janet Reno." The late columnist Molly Ivins reported of Limbaugh."
Quote:
On his TV show, early in the Clinton administration, Limbaugh put up a picture of Socks, the White House cat, and asked, 'Did you know there's a White House dog?' Then he put up a picture of Chelsea Clinton, who was 13 years old at the time and as far as I know had never done any harm to anyone.

This thread is not saying negative things about his daughters. On the contrary, the comments about them have been deferential. What is being done is questioning his treatment of them to include exploiting them on the campaign trail in the case of Cruz and whether Trump is a perv. Both speak to the candidate's character.
Making **** up about candidates so you can pretend they are things that they arent, says more about the posters character..
I don't like him, but let's leave the children out of it. I feel sorry for each and every child of each and every politician. Leave them all alone, it's not nice.
easy to leave them alone if Daddy FamilyValues didn't trot them out there to exploit for his own ends.
i for one dont see anythign wrong with the image of Clinton kissign his daughter.. Which is why I didnt make anything of it..
I also posted a pic of Obama kissing his daughter.. you guys are creeps if you want to make something out of it.. thats not my problem.
Why did you post those pictures, then? Surely you can tell the difference between a photo taken of a fleeting second kiss between a father and daughter and a photo like Trump's that was posed in a sexy way for a photography doing a photo shoot? (Posed sexy on purpose, on top of sculpture of mating parrots no less.)
I personally base my political choice on what a candidate's child does when it's bedtime. It's such an accurate indication of how they will handle government matters.
After his failed prez campaign, he'll jump into punditry, which pays better and doesn't require all that troublesome public service.
