Only 'cost to the consumers'? So where the hell do you think the rest is going to come from?

Undergraduate loans are fixed at 4.29%. The higher rates are for graduate degrees and "professional students" and don't really apply as these folks aren't part of Bernie's college plan.

And it's a direct loan program. The lender is the Department of Education, not a bank.

Even with Pell grants and scholarships, it's often difficult to get through without loans, and with costs escalating the way they are, more debt is being incurred.

If you attend ivy league colleges with ridiculous costs, which is because GOVERNMENT hands out loans no questions asked..

Community colleges are very affordable, and usually grants cover them completely..

just wait till government encourages everyone to be equal.. then everyone can be smart and cure cancer... you just wait...
Just wait till government removes the economic incentive to find a cure for cancer, then everyone will try to find a cure.. you just wait..

Bernie Sanders has for a long time been an advocate of raising the cap on income subject to payroll tax so the wealthy pay the same rate as everyone else which will expand social security so seniors can live better. He is the only candidate proposing it.

This is not an utopian dream we are led to believe. It can happen. The status quo stands in the way. We dont have to elect the same people who are all beholden to the special interests and rich donor class who are bent on reducing the standard of living of ordinary Americans.

Some might not like all his policies, and thats fine. We cant agree with a candidate on absolutely everything. But Sanders provide salt of the earth Americans with a real choice. He has fought for ordinary Americans for more than 40 years.

Of course, Sanders needs our help. But a straight shooter and ambitious visionary like Bernie Sanders in office is a good first step to re-create an America that works for working class people of this country, not just the billionaire class.
That chart is such BS. It says the UK is number 1 in quality of care. That's a complete lie. Go look up at all the deaths every year in that system just from people dying of dehydration because the hospitals aren't providing enough water for the patients. There are also other things like long wait times were people die waiting.

I'm mostly conservative but I don't walk anyone's company line. Explain to me why we need Billionaires and stockholders in the medical field? There are 1000 other ways to make a million dollars in America.

Have you ever heard if you don't have your health you have nothing? Same goes for the country. How can you expect a productive population if they cannot go to the doctor when they have a health problem?

It's really irrelevant as to my position. Students should at least be treated as well as corrupt bankers.
