One thing to keep in mind is that New Hampshire is a very liberal state even where Republicans are concerned. That's why Kasich did as well as he did and even then couldn't muster even half the votes Trump did. Also keep in mind Kashich is hardly a conservative and is seen as a liberal in conservative clothing by many on the far right. Kasich won't do nearly as well in S. Carolina. He'll be crushed there by Trump and Cruz and fall back into single digit numbers.
The thing is that, imo, we NEED someone like Kasich (a moderate, imo) to bring this country together again. I am 62, and I have NEVER seen this country so polarized between the (extreme) liberals and the (extreme) conservatives -- no, not even in the late 60's, and that is saying something! There just seems to be so much hate going on now.
So, bottom line for me is that I will vote for whoever I perceive as being the most "in the middle", whether that means a so-called RINO or a so-called DINO (a conservative in liberal clothing or vice versa).
However, I must admit that I just cannot see myself voting for HRC or Bush, no matter what -- and if it came to a choice between Sanders and Trump . . . well, all I can say is that I just HOPE that it doesn't come to that! (However, if that were the choice, I would probably, although very reluctantly, vote for Sanders.)
Perhaps some rogue Canadians snuck across the border to vote for their compatriot.
Sorry..But Cruz doesn't resemble anything even CLOSE to Canadian VALUES!! In fact up here..he is considered a NUTBAR!!!
