Since countries like Denmark, Sweden and Germany are consistently found at the top of ratings of best countries in which to live, I don't think that you can argue that socialism - that brand of democratic socialism that Bernie favors - is a failed system. Talk about outdated philosophies: Rubio is opposed to opening relations with Cuba. That was a failed policy that is over 50 years old.
I agree with you on Cuba. But I think the socialism of norther Europe is quickly collapsing on itself with all of the refugees coming for their handout. Also, most of those countries are small in comparison to the US, about the size (population-wise) of one of our states or even larger cities. I wouldn't have as big problem with socialism limited to a city or even state level (although I wouldn't prefer it either). Also, there are many more socialist countires around the world that are failing than succeeding. You can't just look at a tiny country and say it worked there so it will work in a large country like the US. And the main reason it works better in smaller countries than large is because of accountability. Once the bureaucracy gets so big and isolated from the people and influenced by special interest, it doesn't respond to the people's interests as well.
Look at Trump's massive girth. This is a rare photo of him when not wearing a suit jacket which hides his massive belly. This is a heart attack waiting to happen. Especially since all the fat is around the waist.
So is Hilary. She also has health issue. Cruz is also a problem, he was about the weight of my brother who died of a heart attack. Rubio sounds like he could have diabetes, what's with him thirsty all the time.
Bernie, for example, he said himself that he couldn't remember the last time he went to see a doctor.
I think health and overall well being is much more important than age.
Bernie has hearing problem. Sorry they all seem to have issues. I think they all have to be nuts in the first place to want to run for president.
Germany has 82 million people. Add countries in Scandinavia, Netherlands, Switzerland etc. They are all doing well and have lots of people. Its not really a population issue. The US is a very rich country and has a lot of advantages that these countries dont have.
Wonder when Clinton and Trump reach Sander's age would they be in as good shape as Sanders, seeing what they are like now, and what Sanders looked like when he was their current age.
FDR was elected 4 times despite having been afflicted by polio and relegated to a wheelchair as a result. And he was in such poor health by the end of his 3rd term that doctors were advising him not to run again. He did die in office because of his health in the 4th term. People still voted for him.
No. I remember thinking about it when Fred Thompson died and all the concern over McCain's age in 2008. Thompson wouldn't have finished a two year term but it looks like to me that McCain isn't any less of a pain in the a** than he was 8 years ago.

Ms Serbia( the lady in white) looks disgusted. She is probably thinking about all the sacrifices Melania has to make to have her own jewelry line.
