Everyone is predicting another recession. It's not a matter of if but when.

Carrier in Indy, UTEC in Huntington to move units to Mexico, costing 2,100 jobs

People, families are losing jobs to workers in foreign countries and may never get another job like them again. Sad. Terribly sad.

Two Indiana plants that make products for the heating, ventilating and air conditioning industry are shifting their manufacturing operations to Mexico, which will cost about 2,100 workers their jobs, company officials announced Wednesday.

Carrier is shuttering its manufacturing facility on Indianapolis' west side, eliminating about 1,400 jobs during the next three years.

United Technologies Electronic Controls announced Wednesday that it will move its Huntington manufacturing operations to a new plant in Mexico, costing the northeastern Indiana city 700 jobs by 2018. Those workers make microprocessor-based controls for the HVAC and refrigeration industries.

People can continue to call Trump ever name under the sun - but it's exactly the situations like these of why people are flocking to Trump. Voice your disapproval numbers ect but he's placing higher than ever in polls. The other politician's have failed the American citizens by acting on their own behave and not the citizens. As outlandish as his statement's are - people are sick and tired of a "hope & change" promise from the established politicians that have yet to prove any of what they've sold us in the past.

Can Trump do it - I don't know - but can he do any worse than what we have now - probably not. American's see more on social media that isn't biased than on any other media venue - so there is no sweeping things like these events under the carpets and containing them to small areas - We again see a successful company takes it's jobs elsewhere - and despite any common sense answer - you or your candidate proposes - people are mad and upset and don't want to be placated - they'll follow Trump.

So you like the idea of singling people out for special treatment. The IRS would be your friend and do that for you.

Trump supporters want a strong man who will tell them that he will defend them from globalization. That he will build a fortress and a mote around our country, with militarized walls and will protect them from everything that is scary about the world.

This is Trump's campaign in a nutshell. His followers do not even seem to care about what his stances are on anything else. Just the issues that touch on this. Nothing else matters to them.

Trump cannot do what he has proposed on tariffs and trade, or the mass roundup of illegal aliens, beyond what is already in law. And as everyone should know, Congress will not be passing any laws to support Trump's proposals on these issues.

Nevertheless, Trump has told his followers what they want to hear, loudly and without deference to facts, the requirements of our system of government, or reality, in a way that nobody else has. It is called "populism," because what he is saying is popular.

Sadly, his supporters appear to be so afraid or so gullible that they just do not care that he will not be able to deliver on these promises. He cannot even come close because legislation would be required which will not be forthcoming.

If you have ever wondered how strong-men like Adolph Hitler came to power (No, Trump is not Adolph Hitler), it requires the suspension of disbelief to the same extent that we are witnessing from Donald Trump supporters right now.

Or maybe he will just sue them, that is his favorite word "sue" along with he is my friend; everyone is his friend and he has worked with all of them. Of course the friendship ends when he doesn't get his way.

While he is expecting Mexico somehow magically paying for the fence what about all those from central and So America that are entering our country through Mexico, how is he going to get their countries to pitch in?
Perfect example of selective hearing. Reminds me of the media pundits and their talking points. He has made it abundantly clear how the wall is paid for.

With the wall up those from Central America will be stopped on the Mexican side and it becomes their problem. Mexico treats them much worse than anything the US has ever done. Currently Mexico gives them a free pass to the border robbing them of valuables all along the way, but if they are stopped on the Mexican side that changes the game. Mexico has to spend their time and money dealing with them not the US.

Incorrect. Trump can employ the full power of the Executive Branch, he can also
shape Federal judiciaries, marshals and agencies in his own likeness, and greatly
influence the Legislature, and the media. There is not one single facet of his
stated plans which he would be unable to implement. If he is the nominee of
the GOP you will see the platform take shape around his ideas.

I agree that it's things like this that do have people flocking to Trump. I guess my question is - what could he do to stop this particular company from doing what they just did.

A "structural" inability to return to a one-time faux "prosperity" is not the same thing as a recession -- more in the nature of a (very) long-term retrenchment.

Here is the information from your link about what e-verify is, clearly stating it is a system, and it is voluntary, and some states have passed legislation making its use mandatory. What part of what I said disagrees with this?
You said it was mandatory..
