It is being hashed out in the House. Cruz is in the Senate. As I am sure you know, Cruz is not going to support anything like this.

In the House, the Freedom Caucus has made it clear they will not support any of this crap, or this budget if it has this kind of crap in it.

It is not to the point of offering amendments yet. First there has to be an agreed on budget proposal to amend.

Based on feedback from Iowa, this ad was very effective on the voters!

I agree with you completely! I keep seeing that Trump has "Tea Party" support and I just have to shake my head!
When most of Trump's supporters proudly declare that their #2 choice is Bernie Sanders, an avowed socialist, that tells it all.

Not sure if anyone remembers and you may not consider it relevant for this election, Bill Clinton's presidential library had it's own eminent domain issues that weren't popular. The land his trailer house library was built on was basically stolen under eminent domain.

The ad with Hilary destroying the computers is funny. Another recent presidential candidate name Mike Huckabee had his hard drives destroyed when his term as governor ended. Maybe it's an Arkansas thing.

To add to the confusion, didn't they just pass the budget for one full year? Ryan was bragging about it.

MOST??? Yeah right......I've seen a few on here,[and can't comprehend the thought process that makes that possible],but certainly not many much less most.

Eminent domain was intended for public projects like roads and not private enterprises like Trunp's casinos.

Since Trump likes the bible so much and quotes two Corinthians he should try reading Mark 12:40.

Return the tax dollars the casino generates and I accept your definition of eminent domain.

Yes, this is the budget for next year. The way it is supposed to work is first a budget is passed and then the 14 appropriations bills are hashed out in detail. Of course the Democrats do not allow this anymore, because they would relinquish their "government shutdown" threat if they did.

So now Ryan is suggesting we may go without a budget this year, since the one he and the establishment Republicans in Congress support is just another capitulation to the Democrats and the Freedom Caucus is poised to torpedo it as a result. Then they might as well just blow off the appropriations bills and move straight to a continuing resolution, complete with additional spending for all the additional pork and handouts the Democrats can dream up, since that is what will happen in the end anyway.

The Republican leadership in Congress is truly and utterly worthless. Worse than worthless, really.

There shouldn't be any tax dollars because they shouldn't be allowed to steal the land in the first place.

Actually, they gladly keep the tax dollars while bitching about "stolen" land.
