For the same reason Rosalind Carter, Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush, and Laura Bush do. She's a former first lady.
Also right wing nuts with guns hate her.

Shouldn't this thread be moved to the conspiracy theory forum?

Yep, it has zero to do with elections.

Is that a threat?????

Take off the tinfoil before it's too late.

Gosh, I wonder. Must be a conspiracy. You know, the one where every former first lady has Secret service protection.

Much as I despise Hillary, I don't see any problem with this remark at all, and am baffled that anyone who knows how to read would.

In the context of the complete quote, where she ends the previous sentence with the interrogative "right?", it seems clear that she was having a momentary lapse in remembering when the California primary is held, was using the historical recollection of Bobby's murder to jog her memory. I can understand why people with poor reading comprehension skills would have difficulty with it, though. Which really helps explain why one of the first things Republican governors do these days is destroy their states' public education systems - keep 'em stupid so they can't figure out how much they're screwing themselves and their families by voting R.
