Mark Halperin of Bloomberg Politics recently ran a focus group with a small number of South Carolina Republicans who remain undecided in the primary. Several of the voters seem open to the idea of supporting Donald Trump, but much of the room tells Halperin they are "troubled" by their collective view that Trump is insincere about being faithful and religious.
Then, Halperin shows the group a few short clips of Trump at his campaign rallies using profanity. "He gets the nomination, they're going to sue his ass up," Trump says in the clips. "Knock the sh** out of ISIS…. And you can tell them to go f––– themselves."
The final quotation (in which Trump mouths or whispers the offending four-letter word) gets the biggest reaction from the focus group, and it's completely negative. One woman watching puts her face in her hands. "Oh my goodness," says a group participant. "Wow," say several others.
"It's crass," says one woman. "It's not how you want your president of the United States to present."
"It's unprofessional," says another woman. Several participants cross their arms.
Donald Trump is vulgar and crass, as most of us know. However, apparently a lot of people are not aware of these tendencies. When they are shown this conduct using actual video clips of Trump behaving this way, they are offended and rather shocked.
This was done in focus groups in South Carolina. The ads are coming out now to make sure that everyone is fully informed. Stay tuned.
But not for being vulgar, crass, oftentimes emotionally unbalanced, and a routine and constant liar of nearly the Hillary Clinton classification.
But being unPC supercedes everything else.....ie the ridiculous notion that he has the answer for the national health care problem. They (his fans) don't care about the details......or lack of.
Of course, they are going to act shocked, that's just common sense.
So what? We need jobs. We need someone that understands how business works so we can get the economy jumpstarted. No one is perfect even though a few of the candidates seem to have that "holier than thou" and even they have started outing themselves for what they are.
I don't think people care about the personality, after all, this isn't a reality TV show that is being played. The stakes are much higher. "Make America Great Again" Trump 2016
Trump is rallying in my town tonight. Local news just reported Trump promised no profanity tonight or ever again. Dude appears to be learning from his mistakes.......

Who the hell cares? Seriously, we're facing an existential threat to our very existence in Western Civilization and people are worried that Trump is too "vulgar." Unbelievable. I'll never understand the American Puritan obsession with having Sunday school teachers as Presidents and leaders. I don't care if Trump is foul mouthed, if he were able to rework our trade deals, build a wall, ban Muslim immigration, etc. our country would be back on the right track. Maybe after we've saved Western Civilization and beaten back the Saracen hordes we can worry about making sure our leaders are prissy and prudish.
