Trump just stated in a press conference in North Carolina that he signed a pledge to not run 3rd party if the RNC played fair and that in his opinion they aren't playing fair. I say good riddance. Of course, he won't. He's already made that threat numerous times and this is just like the debates, if he does it the results might not be what he anticipates.

Does anyone know if they can throw him out of the party?

ETA: That should be South Carolina - sorry

geez louise... just do it already. threat threat threat, whine whine whine.

On the other hand... Rip the republican party apart and let's see what we end up with for the new millennium! Might be a good thing to start out fresh, as much as everyone seems to hate the existing parties. While we're at it, do something with the democratic party, too.

I mean, his threats are empty. The RNC is treating him like a dog turd that they don't want to touch and still he stays on.

The RNC do not want him to be the nominee. They want a Washington groomed guy who is in bed with big companies.

Anyone who seriously believed his "pledge" to not make a 3rd party run hasn't been paying attention to who Trump's been his entire life.

Personally, I say "run Trump run!", but then I'm a D.

Trump is a Democrat, too bad he's not running in that failed party's primary.

If he runs 3rd party, he will take a lot of votes away from the REpubs and that would be a bad move. The RNC needs to treat him equal or they will have Hillary as the Next President.

I will say it again... Trump is Ross Perot 2.0.

He is reeling in everyone now... getting them emotionally involved... saying what people want to hear. I still think he will be an independent.

Because SC does an open primary, Dems can vote for him as well, and from what I have heard, he has expanded his rhetoric to bring in the left.

Default Trump threatening 3rd party run.... Again

If Trump continues to win primaries and remains the front runner, I expect the GOP establishment to do something underhanded to pull the rug out from under him. And if they do, I'd love to see Trump run as a 3rd party candidate.

Somehow, the GOP still isn't getting the message.

Exactly where was this in NC & when?

I don't think he has been in the state recently.
