In a lot of ways, I think Trump and Sanders both represent nationalism - Trump is more forthright and direct with it, but Sanders wants to empower the common man in a way that the regular politicians haven't responded to as well. Are you voting for either of these candidates, and do you consider that vote nationalist in sentiment?

I'm supporting both Hillary and Trump---sounds weird, but I like what both propose. I do like that The Donald is a nationalist. I don't think Bernie is. While he preaches economic nationalism, much like Donald Trump, he wants to bring in the "refugees", give amnesty to illegals, and generally help many poor countries (often corrupt ones). This is globalism. And we've had that for too long, probably since Bush 41. Trump would probably end or at least reduce the amount of taxpayer dollars going to corrupt nations or groups, or those who don't serve our interests (Palestinians, Saudis, Turks, probably some of the Europeans).

America and Americans first.

Exactly, unless we are talking about white nationalism.

Quote:
White nationalism is an ideology that advocates a racial definition of national identity.[1] These individuals identify and are attached to the perceived white nation.[2] It ranges from a preference for one's ethnic group, to feelings of superiority and forms of white supremacism, including calls for national citizenship to be reserved for white people, as in Rhodesia.[3]

White separatism and white supremacy are subgroups within white nationalism. The former seek a separate white state, while the latter add ideas from social Darwinism and Nazism to their ideology.[4] Both generally avoid the term supremacy, because it has negative connotations.[5] https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_nationalism

You make a good point. It is probably why Bernie and Trump are attracting cross over support.

Is it rational to keep voting for the same establishment politicians year after year? When all these establishment candidates do is work for their corporate sponsors? The Bushs and the Clintons - wearing different clothes but same country club.

I mean fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, three times, four times, etc. shame on me.

Go globalist. Go corporatist. Go with the establishment. Go with a family dynasty. Go Hillary Clinton.
