As of one minute ago my wife just became a Republican for the first time in her 68 years. Bucfan just lost another one headed for the Trump wagon!
It is really amazing how easy it is to change from Democrat or Independent to Republican just to vote for Trump!
Congratulations to your wife for joining the "movement"! I left the Democratic Party a few years ago after years of voting a straight Democratic ticket. My dad always voted Democratic BUT I know if he were alive today that he could never bring himself to vote that way. It has just changed SO much.

I can't see why South Carolinians would bother listening to the Governor, about an 84% approval rate and Obama Yeah, he can even hit a 50% approval rate. My bet is that they are as capable as anyone else of making their own decisions.

I was a Democrat for most of my life and then an Independent until Trump came along. I had just switched to Republican about three weeks ago. The kicker is, with my wife, that she voted for Obama two times and is kicking herself for her stupidity! She was holding off switching; but I showed her some of Bucfan's post and that was the clincher!

Yes, Mr. Trump told me that it was very easy to change from Democrat (before 1987; 2001-2009) or Independent (2011-2012) to Republican (2012–present; 2009–11; 1987–99). lol

So, she is the ONE that got Obama elected! Well, she is now redeeming herself and we are a forgiving crowd.
I almost voted for Obama in 2008 but some of the stuff that was brought out was just too suspicious. I would have voted for Hillary in 2008 but could not do it since over time, well, her politics didn't age like "fine wine".
