Trumpettes are the biggest hypocrites on earth. Trump's campaign is 1000 times dirtier than Ted's. At least Cruz doesn't go around calling people morons, stupid or bimbos.

Specifics other than that Carson quit the race misunderstanding. Don't tell us Trump isn't prochoice, doesn't support Democrat leaders Reid, Pelosi, that he hasn't used eminent domain for his personal gain, that his foul language isn't unprofessional, unstatesmanlike, that he's not a Republican as evidenced by his throwing the last Republican POTUS under the bus, that he hasn't been offensive to our women in the country, and that's he's fakes his religiosity for political gain. ........
I think the worst for me was the mailer that went out prior to Iowa, meant to look official, saying that people had violated some kind of "election status" by their past lack of voting.
This is the kind of thing that scam artists do! It was clearly designed to trick the elderly, etc.

I'm really trying to understand why people stay with Trump. I really am. Like I can see why a conservative would prefer Rubio. I don't agree, but I can see it.
But for the life of me I don't understand the Trump thing at all. Because if you're for Trump, here's what you're saying:
I hate the GOP establishment so much, I'm backing the guy that donated to help them against the Tea Party.
I hate Obamacare so much, I'm backing the only candidate not named Bernie Sanders also for single-payer healthcare.
I hate amnesty so much, I'm voting for the guy that helped fund most of the political campaigns of the gang of 8.
I thought Romney and McCain were squishes, so I'm supporting Trump who's to the Left of both of them.
I'm a frustrated Christian voter, so I'm voting for "Planned Parenthood's favorite Republican," who's not pro-Israel, who wouldn't defend Kim Davis and religious liberty (which was the last straw for me), and proudly boasts of being in unrepentant rebellion to God.
I'll stop there because I think I made my point.
Please, someone, help me to understand why this isn't the same phenomenon we mocked with Obama? Tell me what I'm missing here. Is there some reasonable, substantive explanation other than just group-think idolatry for a persona like Obama 2008?
Because if there is I don't see it. Frankly, I don't understand why someone wouldn't be ashamed to support Trump given how his act has devolved the past couple of months.
