Remember the ICE story where the ICE officer (Crane) talked about how poorly Rubio treated them behind the scenes during the attempt by Rubio's Gang of 8 to push their amnesty bill? In case you forgot:

Exclusive: On Eve of South Carolina Vote, Nation's ICE Officers Detail How Marco Rubio Betrayed Them - Breitbart

Apparently Rubio responded to that like this:

“'He’s not an ICE official. He’s the head of a union,' Rubio declared on Fox News when asked about the criticism leveled by Crane. 'That individual is not an ICE official; he’s the head of a union,' Rubio responded."

Well, now sheriffs throughout the country are taking exception to what Rubio is saying about Crane, praising Crane for his courage to tell the truth:

“ICE Officer Chris Crane is as much a real federal law enforcement officer as Marco Rubio is a real U.S. Senator,” said conservative Sheriff Paul Babeu of Pinal County, Arizona. “Not only is Chris Crane a dedicated ICE agent, but he has been fighting for all of law enforcement and border patrol for years,” Sheriff Hodgson explained. “He’s fighting to make the people of this country safer… He’s been fighting to allow these immigration officers to do their jobs because the Obama administration has tied their hands. Crane is someone who not only understands law enforcement, he’s someone who has lived it–he knows the job. He knows the difference between doing the job and having your hands tied by people who are more interested in politics than public safety.” Hogdson also confirmed Crane’s account of his interaction with Sen. Rubio during the Gang of Eight fight."

Law Enforcement Sides with Chris Crane After Rubio's Anti-ICE Tirade - Breitbart

I'm hoping this comes out during the debate.

Sherrifs throughout to US aren't rising up support him, a couple of people spoke out. Find something else. Trump is part of the immigration problem, along with being part of the exodus of manufacturing jobs towards Mexico and China. Oh wait, I forgot Trump has different rules.

Actually this is a pretty good find. Lets stick with it a while and see if it does come out in the debate. I don't think it will. They want to prop up the pool boy and make him the short pants boy wonder supper hero. He could never survive the Trump smackdown on this issue.

Hey Donald he isn't sweating. He just got out of the pool.

Of course it is true because someone said so, but you don't think it will come out in the debate? What if it was a positive story and it didn't come out, what would you have to say then? And why are the Trump supporters, of which some I used to respect stooping to his level by blasting as fast as they can with no proof as to what is true? I know everything is a conspiracy against Trump. Have you ever thought there may be more than one side to a story?

WTH does this have to do with Trump?

I didn't see his name mentioned once by the OP or in the OP's article.

What you don't have enough Trump threads in which to comment?

FYI Trump haters this is a true story and it started a few years ago. I believe Rubio made a huge political mistake throwing in with these scumbag Veteran Democrap/Repug Senators in the Gag of 8 no matter how good his intentions.

He was used specifically because of Hispanic/Latino heritage.

Fine lesson learned, put some salve on your anus Rubio and move on. Part of the political learning process.

Rubio is my guy but he screwed up royally over this issue.

You guys have been mentioning the gang of 8 since day one and Rubio numbers keep going up

Maybe your Rubio bashing is not working...

If some are willing to believe that Trump went from supporting partial birth abortion to prochoice then others can easily believe Rubio changed his mind about immigration reform. Wasn't it Trump who said "people change"?

I love you !!!

It is a positive story for law enforcement.

What would be the proof you would accept ?
In a court of law I very, very, very, rarely see law enforcement not believed. We all know that politicians lie. But law enforcement should be believed until there is evidence to the contrary.
Oh --My--- I'm starting to sound like Hillary on rape victims. Without the exceptions she has for the women of Bill.

I was thinking more in line with the moderators asking Rubio about it at Thursday's debate simply because it's the debate before March 1 when Texas votes.

Yeah, that would be good timing. I hope Trump presents him with a sweat band if that is brought up. I don't know how Rubio is set to do in TX. Haven't heard much about how Texans are leaning.

I, too, hope it's brought up in the debate and that Rubio gets hammered relentlessly with it!
