That would give Florida to Trump/Rubio in the general. Not that Trump needs Rubio to win Florida, but it would seal the deal. And Trump will easily take Ohio, land of the disgruntled middle class. Buh Bye Hillary!

I haven't ignored it. It's irrelevant to the conversation at hand.

But I take note, Hillary jumped right on the bandwagon and joined the rest of the freedom fry eating idiots who voted for that pointless war. What do you say about that since you raised it?

(you must make the mistake of assuming I'm a republican)

I am not crazy about Rubio but I think this would get the GOP behind them and make a lot of people vote differently in the election making Trump more palatable for people who once said they would never vote for him.
I am seriously considering Trump (due to lack of a better choice of candidate. Others are total disaster), but if he picks Rubio as the VP, then I know trump was just trolling, and I will vote for third party in a heartbeat.

I like this combination. Also Trump is 69, having a younger VP is a good insurance.

Many here seem to forget about the 1,000-page piece of bilge that is known as the “Gang of 8” bill.

Instead of working with conservatives, Rubio and his office coordinate attacks on conservatives together with liberals. Even after all of his promises were exposed as pure fabrications, he still went on to star in ads for Mark Zuckerberg touting his bill as something it was not.

Now Rubio wants our votes and suddenly he is on our side. The New narrative here is that Rubio learned his lesson from the Gang of 8 and now shares the same views on immigration as Ted Cruz, so nothing to see here – let’s move on?

seriously?

nah.

But under Bush we didn't have this problem. So let's stop blaming Invasion of Iraq on everything. If anything let's blame Obama, under Obama things got worse because he withdrew troops from Iraq to please his base.

The bill didn't pass. What Obama did was worse. You can vote for Hilary and she will open the floodgate to more millions of illegals. It's that simple.

Rubio is the one with the most developed hawkish worldview.

Trump is not a hawk,

A candidate’s hawkish words may not match his or her less hawkish policy prescriptions. Trump often speaks with a sharp beak: “I would bomb the **** out of them,” he has said of oil fields controlled by the Islamic State group. But he is skeptical about arming the Syrian opposition and undecided on a no-fly zone: “I want to sit back and I want to see what happens.” I can totally agree with Trump on this. He also doesn't view Russians as the invisible enemies and I believe he would get along with Putin and the Russians.

Trump and Rubio ticket, how does that work?
