Anyway, "taking on the gun lobby" has nothing to do with over-policing, militarization of police and police brutality-what Bernie is talking about.
Eric Garner was strangled to death by the NYPD-no gun involved. Hillary is deathly afraid of speaking on the real issues of police brutality, the militarization of the police and the horrible war on "drugs", and instead seeks to appease the ignorant with "gun control".
Well, you know, except for the fact that she has spoken on all those things.
Bernie's political expediency re: gun laws will continue to haunt him. These women don't care that he comes from a rural state with lots of gun owners owners and needed NRA support to win his state elections. They care about their lost children.
How would stiffer gun laws have helped any of these people? I don't think anything in George Zimmerman's background would have kept him from owning a gun even if the laws were stiffer, and neither Bland nor Garner was shot.
When Ferguson was burning to the ground and when Baltimore was burning to the ground, Hillary went into complete media blackout to absolutely avoid being asked anything that she would be held account to. Other than releasing a prepared statement she was in hiding for days.
Of course she panders to this stuff, but once elected, don't expect her to do anything about it. Black issues won't be her concern until the next election.
