What a childish and ignorant post..
And you can add IQ, basic education and some understanding of the constitution to the requirements.

But then we would not have many threads at all.

That would be great!

1. tons of illegals

2. open borders

3. oil- but too many laws to drill for it

4. ag- but too little water to sustain it

5. some of the highest taxes in the nation

6. impending water crisis for LA

7. de facto liberal 50 some odd electoral votes- it would be great to have those gone

CA would be first on my list to dump.

I couldn't agree more. I live in CA and this state has gone totally into the toilet with the far left libs in charge of it. CA would be doing the country a huge favor by getting out of the union.

why do people start silly topics.....a state can't leave the union because you don't like the President. If that's an excuse, the South had every legit reason to leave the Union.

26 states would have left the Union when Obama won re-election and trash Obamacare and a federal mandate of gay marriage.

Secession wouldn't happen until after the other countries put massive sanctions on the US for what they did under Trump and probably would break the country up in the process. Granted that is just a fantasy because Trump would have to actually win the election....something that isn't really in his favor when you look at the electoral college math.

Thanks for the responses everyone. This question came up in my class yesterday and I was just curious what others thought.

What CA really needs is to be broken up into about four states. There are actually sane parts of CA, which tend to be the ag centers.
