The problem with that is not many Americans know anything about Mussolini. It might as well be ancient history.

According to the latest Gallup poll asking Americans to identify Mussolini:

25% said an expensive Italian sports car.

65% said a daily special at the Olive Garden.

10% said fongool.
There were posters here who had to ask who David Duke was and may not have had a clue what the Ku Klux Klan represents.

It just reminds us all that many of the people voting today were first graders when 9/11 occurred and their reference points are much different than those of us who've been around a little longer.

Also, as the people who witnessed WWII and the evils of the dictators of that day fade away, the young Americans won't have a clue who those people were and the heinous crimes against humanity they've done.

In my younger days being called a socialist, communist would get you in a fist fight. Not anymore.

Trump's use of references from Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin means nothing to these young voters and posters. But folks who've been around awhile sure do take offense to it.

The thing about Trump is he's not intelligent enough to produce his own coined quotes unless you find "Make American Great Again" or "You're a Loser" "You're a Liar" "Gonna Make Mexico Pay for It" quoteworthy.

Sure that is what the US needs--a president so thoughtless (as opposed to thoughtful, as in 'to think'), that he blindly retweets whatever crosses his path.

He stole that one from Reagan--he could not even come up with his own slogan.

"The big problem this country has is being politically correct. I don't have time for political correctness. They're chopping off heads"......another good one (I guess).

Never fear my good friend I have no problem with you quoting anyone. I was just looking at a few and here is one to get you out of any problematic comment.
