Backers of Democratic presidential contender Bernie Sanders have launched a campaign to win over some of his rival Hillary Clinton's most prized supporters - the superdelegates that can make the difference in a tight race for the party's nomination.

But some emails, phone messages, and petitions sent by the Sanders boosters have backfired, upsetting superdelegates with their aggressive tone and leading many to dig in their heels for Clinton, according to interviews conducted by Reuters.

And of course, as of now, Hillary has 90 to 65 pledged (non-Superdelegate) delegates.

So the Sanders people are demanding that the superdelegates ignore the will of the people to back him instead. In other words, they are the ones doing exactly what they are criticizing others for doing.

Hillary will probably lead Sanders by more than million votes in 2 weeks when 8 of the 12 largest states have voted.. Looks like his supporters have reversed their clocks back to February 9th for convenience.

They got it ass backwards. Win the primaries and caucuses first, then worry about the super-delegates. It's like Melania picking out the curtains for the WH now.

The aggressive, border oblivious (both trans-nationally and personally) progressive left eats its own tail.

The delegates are doing the People's will; that is their purpose--to assist the proletariat when it strays from understanding how to vote for what the Democratic Socialist Party illuminates is the true hero of Working Families, chairwoman HRC.

Chairwoman Hillary earns more People's-wins.

The Party knows best.

Super delegates were a response to the McGovern rules

So many party bigwigs and elected did not get to go to the convention even as an alternate. The D's came up with super delegates to appease them.

You can bet DWS has this years crop on a tight lease.

IF Bernie wins most of the states on Super Tuesday AND the nomination - you can bet your a$$ that those 'super delegates" will change their vote to him faster than Linda Blair spins her head.
