What are people so angry about that they cannot seem to remedy themselves? Do they think Donald Trump will really solve all of their problems?
For the most part trump supporters are poorly educated people who have been left behind in our modern economy. They've made poor decisions and are now paying for it... and desperate to blame immigrants and minorities for their personal failures. Trump's loud stupid xenophobia draws them like moths to a flame. He IS the loud stupid ******* they imagine THEY would be if in the same position.

Short answer:

They've been told to be angry. And they're good followers.

Hate radio gives them their orders.

Because when you cannot discuss the weak economy, the never ending wars in the Middle East because of the Presidents failure in those areas, the thing to do is falsely play the race card.

They'd get stopped and the money would be confiscated. Not worth the risk.

Another Republican rooting against America.

These folks would rather see this country burn than see it succeed while governed by a black man whose politics make them uncomfortable.

The markets are only just now slowing after a great 7 or 8 year run.....gpd is growing. Opportunities are out there for people who equip themselves to take advantage of them. How is that a bad eceonomy?

Unemployment is more a product of people not aquiring the skills towork in the new knowledge economy. Its structural - a skills gap.

All economies, as they mature, should see more specialization. Its a natural by-product od advancement. We free up resouces that were used to less skilled work 50 years ago and transition them to more profitible pursuits....this is a major component of economic growth. It is what is supposed to happen. We just to make sure we can match the skills to the demand.

I think all of us are angry with the failed political system. not only one set of people- America has been shafted - seeing more and more truth of what goes on behind the scenes is making many aware that we are being played.
The wealthy are getting rich, the poor are protected and hard working middle is getting shafted-- but really which candidate is =going to fix that with the same congress and mentality in DC?

The republicans are more interested in keeping the status quo on a lot of social issues that most Americans want changed. As one poster commented earlier, they forget that there is a large segment of the population that do not want what they want. They refuse to even consider compromise so we have gridlock. They see America changing to accommodate more than just the straight, white, Christians that they're used to. Some of the republican philosophies on social issues are indistinguishable from those in Islamic culture. Nobody wants that here.
