US economy will tailspin like you've never seen, if he's elected. We'll all be selling pencils or apples on the street corners by the time we get him out of the White House, if the unthinkable happens. Just a little prediction for you to reflect upon.

Sounds like Trump turned inside out.

When it comes to fantasies, I think I'll take stick with win win win and the big beautiful wall, thank you.

If we're all selling pencils or apples, why would we need to buy either pencils or apples when we can just take it out of inventory? Wouldn't you do better as the orange guy?

Oh ****, that's right, he's President...

If we look at Trump's past we can get a fairly good predicitons for his future. He used undocumented workers for one. Another was the way he attacked that old lady in A/C because she refused to sell her home. Good businessman? I don't think so. He is more a bully than anything.
The thing that concerns me most about the republican candidates is that most are war hawks, but Trump is a bully. Think about Trump the bully and Putin the tough guy... Regardless I have no doubt that anyone of them will be happy to send our children and grandchildren off to fight and die.

The worst part is that Clinton, in her own underhanded way, is just as bad.

Why would they go to jail? They are getting away with beating people up, treating them like garbage and discriminating against people for their skin color now.

As long as they are are in their little protected Trump-rally-world, they get away with repulsive, uncivil and truly disgusting behavior, all led by their "glorious leader" aka Stormfront CEO. Why would that change if he becomes the jerk-in-chief?

Accusing people of being racist by evoking "Stormfront" because they disagree with you is extremely offensive and more importantly extremely wrong.

There isn't going to be any tailspin, but I doubt you'll see much improvement either.

Too many of Trump's loyalists see the era from 1945 to 1980 as the norm, and are looking for a sentimental journey back to it. But the prosperity of those days was ensured by the fact that the United States and Canada faced very little competition, with much of Europe and Japan still rebuilding, and most of the remaining heavy industrial capacity behind the Iron Curtain.

And it has to be added that a peacetime economy has a much higher demand for personal services than for the industrial goods produced by the sectors traditionally identified with higher wages and the "work rules" designed to curb overly-aggressive, micro-managing supervision. It was author/naturalist Walter Teller who observed that wartime has the unfortunate effect of producing a better variety of jobs -- IF you're not carrying a gun.

But in fairness, many of the jobs produced by a service-oriented economy pay lower wages and offer fewer hours because the people who hold them (teenagers, retirees and "trailing spouses" who assume more of the responsibilities for housework and child care) prefer it that way. The often-repeated cry for a "living" wage at the level traditionally geared to a primary "breadwinner" simply can't be maintained for all of us. You can't pay everyone enough to support a family when not everyone has a family to support.
