Why are Kornbluth and Reich presenting this comparison? Both are Democrats, correct? Reich endorsed Obama and served in the Clinton administration.

Is it that they think that Hillary will have a much easier time defeating Trump than Cruz?

Exactly trump gets crushed by Hillary in nearly every poll while Cruz beats her in nearly every poll. They would MUCH rather face Trump than Cruz.

Reich has endorsed Bernie Sanders and Sanders beat Cruz +17 points in the latest head-to-head CNN poll.

Cruz is a deeply disturbed, crazy and dangerous man. There is a good reason no one even wants to talk to this man in Congress, not even among his own party.

When trying to decide which is more dangerous, it's a choice between poison or electrocution.

Hillary wipes the floor with Ted Cruz in the general election. If the polls don't show that at the moment, it's because the electorate is uninformed about Ted Cruz's positions. He is a dream candidate for a certain segment of the electorate, but not most of America. Pro-choice alone would swing even more women towards Hillary than are already inclined to support her.

To me Cruz would be dangerous if he happened to make it to president because he is an ideologue who is smart enough to make his own decisions. Somebody like Trump would be surrounded by advisers a la Ronald Reagan, so at least you would get decisions by committee.

I wholeheartedly agree with all the comments here!! Thank you.

Yes, Lindsay Graham'ish

Cruz comes across as much more likable to me but it doesn't matter as I'm not voting for either ...not even close.

He would be pure poison. He wants a Christian theocracy and for his cult religion to reign supreme. Ted Cruz's campaign is fueled by a dominionist vision for America (COMMENTARY) - Religion News Service

It is terrifying to listen to those "ministering" associated with his faith. There is a "darkness" to it.

Truer words were never spoken.

That said, any day that has a Trump loss in it can't be all bad.
