Because I knew you were referring to Trump. And then the case would be why should I trust a liar who vaguely promises some things more than the liar who has his promises and has an outline plan on what to do.
Besides in your premises you assume that Number #2 aka everybody but Trump is lying with their plans.
Just because Trump has no detailed plans doesn't make him more truthful.
