I love Sherrod (and his wife Connie Schultz) but I still think they need someone younger. He's 63. I want someone who is going to be the face of the future of the party.
I tend to agree. I mentioned him because he's younger than and at least as progressive as Sanders and Warren who are being touted in this thread.

If Clinton wants to reach out to the progressive left, she will pick Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown and not Bernie or Warren.
His progressive liberal credentials are impeccable, he is from a crucial swing state, and he endorsed Clinton months ago.
Who wants to get smeared by being linked to Hillary? Whoever it is has to figure that their political career ends with the nomination.
