do we have any evidence of this connection?

because if we don't then trump just bought someone else's steaks and tried to play them off as his own.

What the big picture is that Trump used the opportunity last night to dis-spell what his opponents are saying about his businesses, especially Romney. The fact is that Trump has owned over 500 companies and 5 of them have failed. That's 1 percent or in other words, his business success rate is 99 percent. Do the math and argue with that.

As oppose to Mitt whose company would buy other companies, get rid of everyone and package them and sell them.

Mitt job creator? Think not

Didn't Mitt call Trump (when Trump endorsed him) a great businessman?. Is he flip flopping a la Kerry? Oh wait Mitt is a politician.

Trump made a fool out of Romney and Rubio and Cruz!

I thought it was amazing how he can deal with almost everything the GOP and Dem and Media has thrown at him. That alone deserves him to win as he stands stronger than ever.

Even Van Jones a man I never liked but now and than has some common sense, made a very good remark IMO. " Trump can be compared to a Marvel character that get's hit and gets stronger and get hit over and over and the more you hit him the stronger he gets" great sentence.

FWIW: The quality of the *suppliers* of products, no matter whose label ends up on it, is the big factor. Just about everything you see in the store is made by a big conglomerate, for off-labeling. The Family dollar tissues, for example, all have "Kleenex" in very small print on the bottom of the boxes, and are less $ than the "Kleenex"-labeled products. They do this to cater to wider demographics.

We were traveling to Wegman's (an expensive grocery store) to buy meats, thinking their label was a step up from the big brands our nearby stores were limited to. Well one day we're in there shopping and they're replenishing the chicken display, taking the "Wegman's" chicken out of cases/boxes marked TYSON. The plastic wrapping of the chicken, however, is marked "WEGMAN'S".

Knowing since years ago that Tyson is the bottom of the barrel, we flipped a gasket and asked for the manager. He defended it, said we could buy the "Organic" chicken if we want a step up which set us off even more. Tried to tell us that Tyson sends them "higher quality" chicken. Yeah, right. That's not even the point. It's the BIG lettering on the labels which consumers THINK they're buying -- and avoiding!

#1) All you see when shopping is the big "WEGMAN'S" lettering on the packaging of Wegman's "brand" chicken. #2) We could have gone to much closer Walmart or groceries if we wanted to pay proportionate PRICE for Tyson. Will never go back again.

If Bush is a Palm Beach butcher, it's top of the line. It would have to be, to even be allowed to do business on a ritzy island which wouldn't even allow a Starbucks (ANY chain) on it, therefore somebody like Trump would be the only demographic partnering with them.

If Trump has his own water company he should send some to Flint. It'd show he cares about helping Flint as a candidate and that the President isn't doing enough so Trump will send aid.

but is there truly a partnership/business relationship there or did trump simply just buy some steaks to display as if they were "trump steaks"?

Like I said, I could go to Perdue and ask them to package "TomToms" chicken to sell in my store. It's all about the suppliers' quality. If Bush's quality should slip, Trump (or anyone else in his position) would partner with another supplier. Better example: call the best hotels with the best pillows, pillows labeled as, say "Ritz Carlton" pillows. Odds are they get them from a Co. in San Diego which makes opulent pillows, however people who stay at the hotel can buy the "Ritz" pillows right there at the hotel because they love them so much while staying there. (Just using Ritz as hypothetical example, I don't know who makes their pillows.)

I thought he was giving an expose on how successful he was and was implying he was going to do the same for America.
