I can't speak to the specifics of the Ohio law, but allowing 17 year olds to vote in primaries is common in several states... so long as they're 18 by the day of the general election.

I think it's great that Sanders is taking up their cause.
18 year olds are allowed to vote in this country.
They are allowed to register to vote prior to turning 18 so that they can vote on Election Day if they have turned 18 by then.
"Ohio's legislature passed a law that went into effect in 1981 and allows 17-year-olds, who will turn 18 by the November Election Day, to participate in primary elections.
... For years, Ohio's boards of elections have not been counting the votes of 17-year-olds cast for primary presidential candidates."
IF they can vote in the primary, their votes should count.
It seems like a reasonable request to me.
Other states do allow 17 year olds to vote in primaries:
"Less than half of all states allow 17-year-olds to vote in primaries and caucuses if they will be 18 by the date of the general election. The decision rests with the state parties, the state attorney general, and the secretary of state.
Last month, New Mexico changed its law to allow 17-year-olds to vote in its primary election this year."

I read his post, his argument was that they havent tasted life yet, but that has nothing to do with the right to vote, which starts at the age of 18( turn 18 on the date of the general election or before).

Riiight, because you magically become enlightened about the "real world" the day you turn 18. These are 17 year olds that will be eligible to vote in November. Bernie has major support with 30-50 year olds too.
It has to do with the difference in how demographics get their information. IE-researching, researching, researching on the internet versus being spoonfed near-propaganda from the corporately controlled media. 90% of all mass media is owned and controlled by 6 globalist corporations. Unfortunately many of those older than 50 still watch the nightly news/CNN/Fox/MSNBC and take it as gospel.
