I would imagine most of them rationalize it as being like telling a kid there is a Santa Claus or telling a woman her awful new hair-do looks great, in other words, a necessary action that could almost be justified as for their own good.

I can't believe I'm defending Donald Trump.
Wait a minute, now. How would you define a person who orchestrates a press conference and knowingly holds up generic products from other companies and intentionally lies to everyone tuning into that press conference, that the products are really products manufactured and produced by companies that he owns.

The statements made by Trump at the press conference he called and he arranged to have these products on display, have been proven factually false.

The way that Trump worded his statements about these products was meant to intentionally mislead people into believing that they were the same products from the companies that Romney specifically had failed.

THAT to me indicates a pathology.

"Hyperbole" is convenient label when your candidate lies. It's only a lie when the other guy does it.

High school dropouts vote overwhelmingly Democrat ... so no clue where you're going with that.

Republicans and Democrats get different types of high school dropout. Let's put it this way to avoid other topics of debate: Democrats get urban high school dropouts, Republicans get rural/small city high school dropouts.
