I'll play devil's advocate and say they have too many debates, enough already. BUT, what in the heck does change his tone mean? He's so gentle that even little birds stand by him.
It may seem that way but in 2008 there were 25 Democratic debates. I believe there were only 8 this year.
There were also 12 Republican Debates this year, despite them not being informative/intellectually stimulating.
This is code for: "No way am I able to win a debate with Sanders, because he makes waaaaaay too valid points and arguments, so I'm going to simply pout."

I love what Ellison said in the CNN video link above. I have been thinking the same thing lately when I see those numbers on the news reports. The newsmedia knows where their bread is buttered.
