Don't blame Trump for the GOP's troubles.

In the swing states, he is losing to Hillary in Ohio; is ahead of her in Florida by 1 point, trails her in North Carolina, and Hillary beats Trump handily in Virginia, NH, Iowa, New York, Michigan and Wisconsin.
Cruz's numbers in these swing states are better than Trumps. So, it is better to choose Cruz for a chance of a victory than to go with Trump who will be obliterated by Hillary.
Cruz would be buried just as deep as Trump in November.

Looks to me that Donald finally got some understanding that he can't be the interloper that he is and steam roll the GOP.

I heard tell that trump 'threw his staff under the bus'. Bet the bold above is a tactfully worded version of that. Bet he finally figured out that a cult of personality isn't going to guarantee him the nomination, along with the realization that he has nothing of a ground game in any state. Did he really think all those dangling delegates would fall in his lap? How incredibly egotistical of him! Deranged, delusional, disgusting, and just plain dumb.
