Curly again? Do Larry and Moe know about this?

North Dakotans should take my advice, threaten to vote against every Republican on the ballot all the way down to town dogcatcher, if the delegates don't do the voters' bidding.

What voters would that be? There was no vote open to all Republicans all over ND. The only Republicans who got to vote were apparently those who attended this convention, and they voted to have their delegates be unaligned.

Uh no. We knew how it worked and Trump is simply not that popular or well liked here.

I haven't heard or seen one complaint from any of my friends or acquaintances here about our election process. If North Dakotans don't have an issue with it you shouldn't either.

Lol

You're funny. It's a small state with a small population. Trump might have a handful of supporters here but he is still generally disliked. The delegates will likely accurately reflect what the voters of this state would have elected as it seems most of them will back a conservative that isn't Trump.

Voting against every Republican is really funny though. I'm sure the people here will just jump right on board with that.

Except of course, his campaign has lost, by far, the majority of the elections so far. He was completely skunked on swing state tuesday (15th). North Carolina, Florida, Illinois, Ohio and Missouri are major states with large populations and Cruz failed to take any of them.

This campaign isn't well oiled, it needs some caster oil. If they only way they can attempt to win is to exploit the rules, instead of winning it by the vote, then they don't stand a chance next fall against Hillary.

Ted Cruz has apparently defeated Donald Trump in North Dakota, taking 18 of the 25 delegate slots. It is not clear how many delegates are aligned with Trump, if any.

Cruz tops Trump in North Dakota delegate race

Ted Cruz’s preferred candidates won the vast majority of convention delegates available in North Dakota over the weekend, taking 18 of 25 slots in the state in another show of organizational strength over Donald Trump.

But the result was bad news for Trump, who may need unbound delegates like those in North Dakota to lift him above the 1,237 delegate threshold to secure the GOP nomination this summer on the initial ballot. Only one of the 25 delegates selected Sunday has publicly signaled he might back Trump.

“This is a catastrophic outcome for the Trump campaign in North Dakota,” said Jason Miller, a senior adviser to Cruz. "Just when you thought the Donald’s horrible, very bad, no good week couldn’t get any worse, it just did.”

Lightbulb North Dakota Primary elects 25 unaligned delegates- nobody knows who they support

They're about to become democrat superdelegates.

Resistance is futile.

PA will also have a lot of unbound delegates. I think PA will have approx 54 delegates that can choose whoever they want at the GOP convention(plus another ~17 that go to the overall state winner but these are bound). You'll hear more about PA in the next couple weeks since their primary will be one of the next states after WI and NY is over.

He hasn't defeated anyone. All Cruz had done was publish a list of names of delegates that he claims are his supporters - meanwhile, people on that list are scratching their heads and wondering how their names made it on his list as supporters. Before people start crowing about how Cruz defeated the others , they better just hold their horses until the results from the national convention in Cleveland comes out. None of the delegates are bound to anyone, and, if they did make a support claim in ND they are completely free to change their minds and vote for someone else during the national convention.

It appears that bribes are not only allowed to try to win ND delegates, but also expected. It's been mentioned that the candidates are free to whisk the delegates off in private jets, to put them up in high dollar fancy hotels, take them to fancy restaurants, etc .. no doubt they can also be taken to fancy resorts, given the opportunity to play at exclusive golf courses - maybe even play with some of the top golf pro's. There is plenty of time to court (bribe) delegates between now and July.
