Not to derail the thread, but for those of you who are saying Supreme Court nominee as first or second in importance - what exactly are you expecting/hoping a new Supreme Court nominee to do?

IMMIGRATION is numero uno. Many other things are affected by ridiculous illegal and legal immigration. Economy. Jobs. Crime. Healthcare. Security. Taxes. Education. Environment.

Deport these people please.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION is by far the biggest threat/issue facing our nation and for this election by far. Most people who are not in southern border states simply are ignorant to the severity of this issue. It is sad, because if the general public does not wake up to this reality FAST, then our country will be gone before there's anything we can do about it. Our economy, culture, security, and identity is at stake.

The corrupt system of campaign finance. Nothing will change unless the politicians are beholden to no one but the people.

I could see how illegal immigration effected nearly all the other elements. The cost of healthcare since we give emergency medical care to illegals aliens who use emergency care 3 times as much as citizens. We cover illegal pregnants from the time their anchor is conceived until the anchor decides to support themselves. They also cover illegal aliens under a loophole in Medicaid taking from our own poor and disabled. And, crime, yet another element that illegal aliens are guilty of as crossing the border without authorization is a crime. And, the economy? Illegal aliens cost us $113 billion per year. 1 in 8 white collar jobs are now held by an illegal alien. Their children have overburdened our schools, just look at how those filled with their children are rated. They are a plague on our nation. I want them GONE! They are squatters and should have no rights here.

Actually, for the most part, they just need to enforce immigration law and put a stop on the H1B visas. We do not need new rules or policies, just enforcement.

Right. We have the laws in place but need to enforce them. Illegal immigration is destroying our country and turning it into a 3rd world dive.

Exactly. Anyone that doesn't get it needs to go to the "Illegal immigration" sub-forum and educate themselves.

Trump says he's going to provide a list of candidates for the Supreme Court he'd consider. He just said it again this past weekend. He wants to put that argument to rest.
