Practice grace. Practice hugs. And the worst, a gazillion takes to say, "I'm Ted Cruz and I approved this message."

It's odd. I've always pretty much detested Cruz, based on his politics, antics, disrespectful hate for the president...and I still do not respect that he has done that.

But now that he wants to be liked by everyone, not just the 'base', he seems much more humble and human. I thought he was ok on Kimmel--funny even. He seemed like someone who is very insecure around people, but not so bad when he just acts normally. Could be an act, and perhaps Trump just makes others look good in comparison. I think it is good that Palin deserted Cruz. She is a huge negative--toxic to those she endorses--hopefully she will go back to being marginalized and irrelevant.

Have you seen the full video of him and his mother? She was clearly very uncomfortable. The whole thing was awkward and I could only take so much of it.

He's got a sense of humor. Yet still so unlikable . . . .

I am not standing up for Cruz in any way, shape, or form. What I don't like is that some people base their votes on if they think someone is "likable". I don't care if they are likable, I want someone to get the job done. I won't vote for Cruz because I think he's part of the establishment as much as he claims that he's not, and because I think he lies about too many things. The pounding on the podium annoys me, but if that was all that I had, it wouldn't stop me from voting for him.

This whole, "Oh, I like the way he looks" or "I like the way he talks" or "I like his pleated pants" has gotten us one of the worst presidents known in this country. Stop focusing on how "funny" they are, and start focusing on what they can actually do, have done, and want to do.

I can rattle off half a dozen Trump policies but can't think of one for Cruz. Other than that I am a constitutional conservative blah, blah, blah, he is a blank character to me.

I can just hear that whiny voice now..."You can go to my website, HappyRider, it's TedCruz.org, where all my policies are listed, including a postcard to back up my proposal to eliminate the IRS blah, blah, blah...."

Thanks for the vid...he is such a phony...very unlike Trump, who is real. Two things specifically stuck out at me as being uncomfortable...the way he had his arm on his wife's shoulder when sitting on the dock with his family. The other was that each had a full glass of water (not soda) on the dinner table.

How degrading. I bet politicians are looking forward to the day (when the constitution is gone and we're third world) where they don't have to act like this to get votes.
