Private citizens are allowed to give speeches to earn money. Hillary's fees are completely in line with a person of her stature. Those who have been feeding at the Congressional pay trough for two and a half decades are not.
No one said she couldn't. What people want to know is what she promised them in her speeches when she is no longer just a private citizen.

It's not about the money or her right to give speeches. It's that she blames middle America for the financial crisis behind closed doors while promising to help the banks out and then says something completely different when she's running for office.

People are so simple minded. These aren't secret conversations she is having with a Gary Cohen and Lloyd Blankfein. I am sure she is just heaping praise for the many services the industry does for the country / economy, which is 100% true.

There's re much bigger fish to fry than Hillary speaking at some corporate outing. This weekend, Saudi Arabia comes out and basically holds the US under financial blackmail. HRC received ten million $ from the kingdom to arrange arms sales with Boeing. She sold 20% of US plutonium production to a kremlin shell company. And people are worried if Hillary told a bunch of mid level bankers who take NJ transit and LIRR if they provide an essential service to the economy.

Because Bernie has lost the primary and she sees no reason to give any advantage that the GOP can use in the general election

This is why her unfavorability, and trustworthiness ratings are so bad, she brings this all on herself with stuff like this.

Most ridiculous post in this thread.

#1 Hillary is the only one getting paid by Wall Street to make speeches. $225,000 for a 20 minute speech to Goldman Sachs?! Her opponent Bernie has not done this.

#2 Why do you think Wall Street companies were willing to pay massive amounts for 1 time short speeches? Use your imagination.

#3 Hillary isn't a private individual, she is running for the highest office in the nation. People should look into her private life. Just like when people (including Hillary supporters) demanded Trump release his New York Times transcripts. Were you out there posting that they are playing the "penis card?"

#4 If the reports are true, Hillary is a massive hypocrite. Telling Wall Street one thing behind closed doors and voters another thing.

Do you honestly think that Goldman Sachs paid Hillary $225,000 for a 20 minute speech, because Hillary is an amazing speaker for the ages?

Or do you think Goldman Sachs was buying influence and favor?

Why do you think an attendee of the speech said that Hillary sounded like a "Goldman Sachs managing director?" There is a reason Hillary doesn't want to release these transcripts - - it fits into what Bernie has been saying.

You got it!
