I cant believe the majority of illegals slog through the desert for days to climb a fence then trek for more days through the US desert sticking out like a sore thumb to get where? when they can just drive over the border or take a bus train plane or boat to enter the USA. A typical US entry point from Mexico=

Same border going the other way=

With 11 million illegals in the country its not beyond the realms of possibility that one of them might have a traffic accident, unfortunate as that might be its a bit drama queen to now call for a billion $$ wall to immediately be built.
As for these ranchers living in fear? wouldnt they have guns and wouldnt the supposed fear they are being subjected to cause them to use these guns on the hordes of illegal immigrants swarming their properties? odd how i'm not hearing much about farmers using the Stand Your Ground law to protect themselves.
As for drugs? i cant believe some one slogging through the desert with a backpack full of dope when there are far superior methods of transport=

This is from the link in #4 post (Antwhere Else)from Judicila Watch

Quote:
"ISIS is operating a camp just a few miles from El Paso, Texas, according to Judicial Watch sources that include a Mexican Army field grade officer and a Mexican Federal Police Inspector.

The exact location where the terrorist group has established its base is around eight miles from the U.S. border in an area known as “Anapra” situated just west of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Another ISIS cell to the west of Ciudad Juárez, in Puerto Palomas, targets the New Mexico towns of Columbus and Deming for easy access to the United States, the same knowledgeable sources confirm.

During the course of a joint operation last week, Mexican Army and federal law enforcement officials discovered documents in Arabic and Urdu, as well as “plans” of Fort Bliss – the sprawling military installation that houses the US Army’s 1st Armored Division. Muslim prayer rugs were recovered with the documents during the operation."

Why don't we EVER hear any follow up on these reports???
We lived in NM, and I can verify how porous and unmanned the border is like this quote states from same article:

"According to these same sources, “coyotes” engaged in human smuggling – and working for Juárez Cartel – help move ISIS terrorists through the desert and across the border between Santa Teresa and Sunland Park, New Mexico. To the east of El Paso and Ciudad Juárez, cartel-backed “coyotes” are also smuggling ISIS terrorists through the porous border between Acala and Fort Hancock, Texas. These specific areas were targeted for exploitation by ISIS because of their understaffed municipal and county police forces, and the relative safe-havens the areas provide for the unchecked large-scale drug smuggling that was already ongoing.

Mexican intelligence sources report that ISIS intends to exploit the railways and airport facilities in the vicinity of Santa Teresa, NM (a US port-of-entry). The sources also say that ISIS has “spotters” located in the East Potrillo Mountains of New Mexico (largely managed by the Bureau of Land Management) to assist with terrorist border crossing operations. ISIS is conducting reconnaissance of regional universities; the White Sands Missile Range; government facilities in Alamogordo, NM; Ft. Bliss; and the electrical power facilities near Anapra and Chaparral, NM."

Yes, walls can and do get breached. However, between a wall and patrols, it gets very difficult to breach it.

I don't know why anyone would rather leave the border wide open and unprotected, unless they have an agenda.
Israel's wall is another example. It has now cut down 90% of the violence from the Palestinians.

I have a funding idea. I have seen it done before. Disney done it! I would pay a certain amount to have a brick with my name on it in the wall. I'd get one for every family members and even my two dogs!

Add in the drug trafficking that is killing America's youth and the number of illegals freeloading off the American government and you'd have to be blind to see that what we have now is NOT WORKING.
Since it's Trump's wall, let him pay for it.

To not totally put a stop to illegal immigration is to say that laws don't matter, applying for status the legal way doesn't matter, and the rights of American citizens don't matter. To amnesty millions already here would give the green light to many more millions to pack their bags and cross the border.

Why have immigration laws if you're not going to enforce them ?

As for how the illegals are getting here, most don't have a dime to their names meaning they can't afford a bus/plane/train ticket and are forced to hitch rides to the border and cross. Are there some who overstay their tourist visas and disappear ?
Sure. Are they the majority ? No way. After the wall is complete, increase the number of ICE agents to hunt down the violators, and deport them.

Spending billions of $ on illegal immigrants means those billions are lost and can't be spent on things that better life for American citizens.

OK as long as Obama pays for all of the benefits for the illegals that came here during his administration.

The true idiots are ones who think immigration laws don't matter and don't care about the billions being spend on benefits for the illegals.

Why don't you invite a few illegals to live in your house to reduce the burden on the federal government ?
