That's funny ... only 12 Republicans in a district. What does he get if there are 12,000 Republicans in the district and Mr. Haney gets 7 votes ?
I made up the number 12 but I doubt there are many Republicans in that district. And you answer your questions Mr. Haney gets none unless those seven were virtually the only voters.
Only hard core fringe Republicans are going to vote for a Canadian Pentecostal Religious Fundamentalist. He couldn't even win the support of Evangelicals in the South and without that he's completely sunk.
I am a liberal Democrat who plans on voting for Cruz.
Cruz spent a lot of time last month trashing New York, so it's no surprise New Yorkers don't like the guy, especially when one of their own is his opponent.
May I ask why you're jumping from a liberal Democrat to a far right-wing conservative ?
Have you listened to what Cruz actually says? Or are you capable only of hearing the media filter of what he says? He is saying nothing that Bill Clinton, Hubert Humphrey, Scoop Jackson or Edmund Muskie could not have said, except maybe on abortion.
Even as to immigration most of those would have been in favor only of legal immigration where the immigrants did not plan on drawing benefits. In short, listen to Cruz, not the media on Cruz.

When it comes to Cruz, I question everyone who supports him because he is not going to win and become President - voting for him is handing it all over to Hillary. And the Hillary supporters know that.
Aye, state your real party affiliation and candidate that you support, I'm no longer buying what they're concocting in Dexter's Laboratory.
Well Said. Cruz will never be the president of the USA. And if the GOP manages to steal the nomination from Trump and hands it to someone else, I predict the only way Cruz ends up with it is if they can't find anyone else to take the position.
