Ideally, in my opinion, Jeff Sessions could fit the bill but Trump may want to put a younger person in the job who could be the future of the party. That would make the party happy. I wouldn't object to Scott Brown.

W BUSH had no choice.....he was clueless how to run the W.H. and the country and didn't want to use his daddy because he wanted to get out of his shadow and be his own man but Cheney ran that W.H. until the war was going bad and the GOP lost control of congress in 2006, then W Bush figured out giving Cheney too much power was a mistake and limited Dick but by then W Bush was a lame duck President.

W BUSH 2nd term was awful!........he pretty much gave congress to the Democrats in 2006 and Obama the W.H. in 2008 and he appointed Justice Roberts to the S.C. the key vote to pass Obamacare in the courts and make it the law of the land.

you can basically thank W BUSH for Obamacare and some Republicans still adore W Bush and got mad at Trump for finally putting an end to the Bush dynasty and the Bush doctrine.

Here's a Miami newspaper article with a rare image of Trump without the suit jacket. He's not wearing a bullet proof vest because this was taken a few months before the campaign began. This photo is maybe 1 year old.

He's still fat today - just hides that belly under a suit jacket. Still has a double chin. Still eats cheeseburgers and doesn't work out. His doctor's note said he is on statin meds for high cholesterol. He's a heart attack waiting to occur.

Actually, when I first saw this photo, I thought he looked a lot like Christie.

Quite the obvious. Trump will run shrillary throu the blender, and then through a thresher, and then though the industrial combine of all her lies, scandals, and misdeeds. Donald Trump is the LAST person she wants to tangle with.

I'm not sure what you've been drinking but Kasich is anything but a Tea Party man. You obviously have no idea what "Tea Party" is in Republican politics.

He went on to say that Kasich would be the best choice for Trump to balance the ticket and giving Trump a huge advantage in Ohio.
This makes total and complete sense. Trump said he's going to pick a politician and Kasich has the delegates that would prevent an open convention. I bet negotiations are already happening between the two. Don't be surprised if an announcement is made shortly after the primaries are completed and before the convention.
That interview has gone "Poof!" ...... the story now is that there is NO WAY that Kasich would accept a VP spot with Trump and he still insists that he WILL be the Republican Nominee

Cause he has "friends" in High Places on the RNC.

John Kasich vs. Neil Cavuto: "There Are No Rules," "I've Got Friends Who Are Going To Be On The Convention Rules Committee" |Real Clear Politics - 4/24/16
John Kasich tells Fox News Channel's Neil Cavuto that Ted Cruz or Donald Trump can not beat Hillary Clinton, and that he would never accept an invitation to be Vice President from either of them. He says he expects to go to the RNC convention and be nominated there.

"And guess what, I've got friends who are going to be on the Rules Committee," the Ohio governor said. "We don't know who is going on the rules committee yet. And thirdly, people can be nominated from the floor."

John Kasich has claimed almost from the very beginning - "I will be the President of the United States". Basically they all claim this, but Kasich is a bit different because he has only WON one State, his own and he didn't even get above 50% in his own State ...... and yet, he is all about "This is a DONE DEAL, I will win". He clearly thinks the FIX is in.
