I just got a CNBC alert, story still developing but Ted Cruz is going to make a major announcement at 4:00 Eastern Time today.

Do you think he will be dropping out of the race?

I'll be surprised if he does. But...

If he does, that will be $112,000,000 spent for nothing.

No, I heard he will announce is VP. Weird that he would do such since he is nowhere close to securing the nomination. Cart meet horse.. Apparently, Carly F will get the nod to lose the nomination with him.

This would make more sense. He's got to do something to take his horrible losing streak out of the news cycle or he is simply toast in Indiana. A VP pick would do this.

It's a desperation move, but one that is entirely consistent with how Ted Cruz has conducted himself in this primary.

Maybe he'll "announce" Kasich as his running mate...but not tell Kasich about it.
Just like their last 'deal'

I heard him answering questions, it definitely didn't sound like he was dropping out, he was talking about barnstorming the state for the next week.

Could be VP pick, I guess. Carly Fiorina? Not sure why he thinks that would get him a lot of votes though considering she barely got any votes when she was running herself.

Ted is desperately trying to stay relevant in the race. Too little, too late. This morning he was on CNN making an announcement, about an announcement.

That could be as well, but I think choosing Carly will make him even less unpopular in a general election. He needs someone a bit more moderate because he has zero appeal to most non-conservatives. Honestly, after last night's results, Kasich and Cruz should drop out.
