Great article! I still don't know how anyone could believe that Cruz would be the GOP nominee. He is just so darn unsavory.

Again, I had faith that Cruz would "reap what he has sown" and by gosh, by golly, reaping time has befallen the Cruz campaign.

Reminds me of that commercial, 'Help me! I've fallen and I can't get up!"

He has lost every single primary east of the Mississippi River, and more beyond that.

He no longer is a viable primary candidate.

His only hope is to pull a scheme to disenfranchise millions of voters.

Cruz bragging he was conniving and stealing all of Trump's delegates away from him exposed him for the slimey character he is. Instead of making him look clever and politically superior, it just made him look like an underhanded cheat.

His resemblance to Mr. Haney is unfortunate - especially when he is caught lying and cheating in true Haney style.

Cruz has to be the nominee because 55 percent of Republican voters are against Trump. Oh and Cruz said Trump is not a good businessman.

Let's see... Yesterday there were 5 Republican primaries...
Trump won all 5.
He won every county in every one of those 5 states.
In some cases, he had greater than 60% of the votes.
So just WHO'S VOTING AGAINST HIM?... the other 40?... please.

I thought at first Cruz was actually running a good campaign - keeping quiet while everyone else went after Trump. I thought he maybe had his eye on the VP slot - but then he alienated his one friend Rand Paul, tried to end Carson's bid, aligned with Kasich only to have an email appear today sent to his district organizers that to make sure people do vote for him ect.

I think that Cruz did have his eye on the VP spot but as the other candidates fell by the wayside - he became too full of himself thinking that he could take the election. If this ends how we all think it will - he better look for another job. For the past three years, he has been engaged in a very specific, pointed, and personal attempt aimed at painting practically every Republican in Washington as a corrupt phony and himself as the only honest man in the city. And his fellow Republicans don't like this one bit because they know he's just as much of a phony.

One big difference. Mr Haney was at least likeable. Not so for the Canadian Rat.
