We have no choice".

and in the same speech,

"To our friends and allies, I say America is... going to be a great and reliable ally again. It’s going to be a friend again".

Seconds later he proclaims,

"America no longer has a clear understanding of our foreign policy goals. Since the end of the Cold War and the breakup of the Soviet Union, we’ve lacked a coherent foreign policy."

but wait a minute.........

"We must as a nation be more unpredictable. We are totally predictable."

Uh, (scratching head), thanks for the clarifications, yuge dude.
And Again, more clarity

"Problems in the Middle East “all began with a dangerous idea that we could make western democracies out of countries that had no experience or interests in becoming a western democracy.”

along side the following..........

"We should understand that strengthening and promoting Western civilization and its accomplishments will do more to inspire positive reforms around the world than military interventions."

By gosh, Trump's foreign policy is as clear as mud now. All the world leaders can breathe a sigh of relief that clarity and sanity is going to return to America's foreign policy but then again, they most likely are sitting with their parliaments, scratching their heads and scared S#!tless, while saying in 30 different languages, "WTF did he just say???????"

And Ann Coulter says this is the BEST SPEECH since George Washington's Farewell Address?????

Delusion runs through her mightily!

I think Trump is saying that we need to close down all of our foreign military bases.

Trump may have to use a teleprompter to address Congress should the miracle occur and he win the general election.

And if he did; he would not be the first one. Reagan could not give a speech until he had a teleprompter.

Contradictory and full of factual errors...

Donald Trump’s foreign policy speech was an incoherent mess.

I heard Trump said his secret plan to eliminate ISIS would be the best secret plan since Nixon's secret plan to end the Viet Nam war.

Fantastic speech. I enjoyed it and he really came across as much more presidential. Go Trump!
