CNN reports Governor will be making a major important announcement at noon today. I've read the never Trump movement have been harrassing the Govennor to endorse Lyin' Ted

It will be interesting to hear what he has to say and/or if he will endorse a candidate that has no chance of becoming the Republican nominee.

He will endorse Cruz, no doubt about it. The fact that he waited this long to do so just proves that this is really the last ditch effort of the GOP to stop Trump. It will not work.

Clearly, until Mr. Trump wins 1,237 delegates, Ted Cruz has a chance, however small.

Pence will probably endorse Cruz if he is endorsing anyone in the primary.

if I was him, I would never endorse a candidate that is mathematically eliminated from the nomination.....that's like coming out an endorsing Rubio....especially if Trump is leading in the polls in Indiana.

a chance???? he is mathematically eliminated......by June 7th, Ted Cruz will be over 500 delegates short from 1,237......that means if this goes after the 1st ballot not only he has to KEEP all the delegates that he has won but to get 500 delegates to vote for him.....that's impossible......Reagan in 1976 coudn't do it with 200 delegates at the convention and he was a 2 term governor and won more states than Cruz did.

forget 500 delegates, Cruz is done!

So much for the noon announcement, CNN just confirmed that the Governor will endorse Lyin' Ted, SMH.

I always find these endorsement to such a laugh, so many of them think that they are a popular public figure like some actor or rock star...please.

In these times, do people really still vote for someone because a certain person endorses them?

I would think, either you like or not like a certain candidate due to your own personal preferences, not if person x, y, z comes out saying that a certain candidate is better than another.

This is interesting... Endorsing Cruz is a suicide mission. Wonder what the "never Trump" GOPe promised Pence in exchange for the endorsement?

Yet it's not impossible, when you have the entire party apparatus behind you. Don't forget who these delegates are . . . . once they are released after the first (or second or subsequent) ballots, most would do what they perceive to be in the best interest of the party, however misguided or not.
