This isn't the opinion of a few writers sitting around the offices at Politico. Google a few of the names of the experts they surveyed. They represent a broad cross section across the political spectrum and include some of the sharpest minds on both sides. A total of 90% of those surveyed said that Hillary was leading in their state. That includes over 3/4's of the Pubs and 99% of the Democrats.

These are the members of The POLITICO Caucus, not all of whom participated in this survey:

Added a Florida Republican, who like all participants was granted anonymity in order to speak freely, “Trump is grinding the GOP to a stub. He couldn't find enough xenophobic, angry white Floridians to beat Hillary in Florida if he tried.”
Quote:
"I not only think [Hillary] will win Florida in November if Trump is the nominee, I think she'll win 30+ states,” said another Florida Republican.

"Trump cannot and will not carry Ohio,” a Republican from that state insisted. “He will do well in Appalachia and in the Mahoning Valley, but he will get killed in the rest of the state. The danger for the GOP is losing Rob Portman, which is a very real possibility under this matchup.”

If the argument is Ted can win, I say we still lose. I can't imagine a worse possible outcome than a Cruz vs Clinton election. My only hopes then would be a couple planes falling out of the sky.
And Trump isn't a Narcissist? He has a bigger ego than every other candidate combined.

Yes he is. I'm not voting for Trump. The habitual lying out of the other two bothers me more.

The demographics have aligned such that the GOP is headed for permanent minority status

There is a lot of room for growth in those Chairman Mao style outfits of hers.
