Pyro, watch the video. Trump says that the US should not have overthrown Saddam, but since we did, "we should take the oil"
and "in war, to the victor goes the spoils"
and "you know, when we invaded iraq, smart people told me we're really there for the oil. I said, that sounds smart. Unfortunately, Bush didn't do that."
and "it'd be easy to take the oil because we decapitated the Iraqi military, Iraq couldn't stop us"
He said these things in 2011, 2013, and 2015.
He was NOT talking about ISIS oil by the way. In 2003 ISIS didn't even exist and he was saying the US should've conquered Iraq's oil after the invasion.
THAT is what I'm talking about. Not a single Trump supporter has opposed what Trump has said.
And again, taking ISIS' oil is STILL stealing Iraqi oil, since ISIS stole the oil from Iraq.
Can you be the first Trump supporter to just outright say that Trump's ideas here are completely insane and immoral? Please be that person.
I will admit as a Trump supporter that the concept of taking Iraq's oil is in fact stealing. I still think that we should be destroying oil wells that are under Islamic State control and once this conflict is over send in oil companies like Exxon and BP to fix them as long as it is under the direct permission of their current owners.
Let's see, how many Iraqis have died because of the U.S? I'd say we owe them more than we can ever repay.
However ....we should take trillions from the terrorist nation Saudi Arabia, and they should be considered enemies of America! 15 of the 19 terrorists of 9/11 were Saudi Nationals!
This is one reason, the Bush administration did not put them on our list of terrorist nations~
Even without Googling it should be obvious that stealing trillions in Iraqi oil would be one of the most criminal acts the US military has ever committed.
Let us get this straight.
YOU are gong to put your credibility on the line for a VERY BIASED NON-governmnet organization, Human Rights Watch, who make up definitions to suit it's biases.
Even without Googling it should be obvious that stealing trillions in Iraqi oil would be one of the most criminal acts the US military has ever committed.
Or you MIGHT to ACTUALLY READ the LAW.
A shortenned version of the definition of War Crimes"
"A war crime is an act that constitutes a serious violation of the law of war that gives rise to individual criminal responsibility.[1] Examples of war crimes include intentionally killing civilians or prisoners, torture, destroying civilian property, taking hostages, perfidy, rape, using child soldiers, pillaging, declaring that no quarter will be given, and using weapons that cause superfluous injury or unnecessary suffering.[2]"
Public Policy Polling did a poll of Trump supporters and found that 68% of them support Trump's plan to "repay the costs of the Iraq war" by stealing $1.5 trillion+ in Iraqi oil
In case you didn't know, Trump has repeatedly said the US should use military force to steal at least $1.5 trillion in Iraqi oil. He said this in interviews with ABC News, Wall Street Journal and CNN Money. He also has a chapter in his book "Time to Talk Tough" called "Take the Oil" where he talks about this some more.
You can watch Trump talk about his plan in this Facebook video
This has got to be the most insane thing I've ever seen Trump supporters support. This would also be the biggest, most indefensible war crime the US has ever committed in the past 50 years IMO,and would require the US to kill tens of thousands of Iraqis.

I saw it, nowhere did it say he wants to take oil by force.
