Here is Donald Trump, 5 years ago on CNN Money, saying the USA should have stolen Iraq's entire $15 trillion worth of oil.
It's not stealing - it's spoils of war.

That would be like saying we "stole" the country from the indians. We didn't steal it - we conquered it!

To the conquerors go the spoils. Deal with it.

And why should you and I have to pay for all the money squandered in the war(s).

I'm with Trump - nuke 'em and suck all the oil out.

Because it was a war of choice that we started. Why did we squander money and send troops 1/2 around the world to invade a podunk nation?

I guess if we wanted to be the "American Empire" we would occupy Iraq indefinitely for the purpose of stealing its oil.

It's kind of sad that about half the voters so far think this is acceptable.

No, Iraq needs it's resources to rebuild itself. Taking their resources will create more tensions in the middle east.

I've heard so many extreme liberals lie and claim Bush did this, I wonder how many believe this already happened.

The Saudis still owe us a trillion dollars for dealing with Saddam Hussein for them. At least Trump is on the right track even if I doubt he'd follow through. Beats a "Duhhh,.... Derrrrr.... ummmmm, Uhhhhhhh." from Obama at least.

Spoils of war. Gotta get reparations from somewhere.

If I recall, earlier this year, he said he will partner with Big Oil to handle the details.

No POTUS can deliver on any promise unless Congress goes along with it.

Assuming Trump wins the nomination, it's more likely the $ billion or so that Koch put together from other billionaires for a Super PAC will instead be invested in electing/ reelecting Senators and Reps who share their values.
