Trump will win AZ. I don't believe that's much in play.

Nevada/Florida?

Trump has already shown he can will the Rep. Hispanic voter over two Rep. Hispanic candidates. That his comments about the wall and Mexican rapist didn't knock him out of the box. Why support Trump when there are two competing Hispanic (especially Rubio) candidates not nearly as vocal about illegal immigration? Maybe it's because Trumps anti-illegal immigration stance isn't nearly the end-all issue for many Hispanics as the media states.

Again I'm not suggesting Trump will get an substantial amount of Black or Hispanic vote. However, I strongly suspect he'll do much better with the AA vote then we've seen Rep nominees get in the past. And not nearly as bad with Hispanics as some predict.

Well, let's bookmark this discussion, John. I think Trump is going to get blown out of the water and the reason will because he's going to get dismally few minority voters. Beyond Diamond and Silk and a few black employees, I don't think Trump is going to make much headway with the black vote. As for Arizona, I'm inclined to trust McCain's judgement on this. If he says there's a problem, there's probably a problem.

McCain knows what he is talking about. Trump has woken a sleeping dragon with his racist comments. The wake up started with the "show me your papers" law in Arizona, the rage began to grow with Romney talking about self deportation and Trump's nativism was the final straw. Lots of young Latinos that normally couldn't careless about politics are energized and motivated to vote against Trump and anyone associated with him or his party. It is the same type of energy that the GOP has been exploiting for years to get their base off the couch and to the polls with the god, gays and guns stuff.

McCain says the Latino community is energized in a way he's never seen before. Of course, this is exactly the kind of thing Trump supporters would be blind to. They want to believe that this is 1972 and there are still enough Archie Bunkers in America to put a guy like Trump over the top, but that's doubtful. Very doubtful.

And, if people actually thought McCain was relevant, he would be the POTUS and not just someone spouting off to join the groups expressing sour grapes over Trump doing so well while they were failures.

I am not sure what this has to do with Cruz quitting the race but it still party time at my house! It was the moment I had been waiting for. Justice served.

I lived in AZ for 6 years. I am not an "elite" like McCain and I say McCain doesn't have a clue. Sour grapes.

Vote for Trump because Crooked Hilary would be a total disaster. Trump is without a doubt the best Republican candidate since Ronald Reagan! Romney was a worthless RINO and seemed to actually give up in the third debate. He could have won but ran one of the worst campaigns in history and Ryan was a horrible vp choice. Insane McCain is the most useless Republican ever and if he had gotten elected we would be in a war in Syria and maybe even in Ukraine. I liked George Bush but he got us into the war with Iraq and did nothing to stop the growth of the federal government. Tax happy Bob Dole was a guaranteed loser. George H "read my lips no new taxes" was definitely not a conservative. Trump is not a perfect candidate but at least he will repeal Obama care, nominate moderate to conservative judges and reduce federal regulations on business. "Trump is without a doubt the best Republican candidate since Ronald Reagan!"

You know what? You may be right...

If enough hard right Conservatives stay home because they can't vote for Trump, and if enough moderate Republicans stay home because they can't vote for Trump OR Hillary, if enough Independents stay home, if enough Bernie supporters stay home because they won't vote for Hillary, if enough women stay home because they don't like either candidate, if enough Democrats stay home, arrogantly assuming they don't need to vote because they think there's no way Trump could ever win, and if a 3rd party candidate like the Libertarian Party is able to siphon off enough of the voters who are disgusted with both parties...

...then, maybe, Trump could pull this off as a result of historically low voter turn out....

How sad is that?

Yeah, if you are trying to make an argument in favor of Donald, Arnold is not the poster child for you to use.

My point was to illustrate Trump is a similar type of celebrity candidate with cross over appeal.
