Republicans turn on Trump

And the GOP civil war escalates.

Very amusing!

Wishful thinking on your part.

The majority of Democrats were perfectly fine with Sanders or Clinton winning the nomination. While Sanders may have inspired a great deal of passion, like Trump has, that doesn't mean that the party is split. There may be some die-hard Sanders supporters who prefer Trump to Clinton, but that faction is not similar to the Never-Trump faction in the GOP. The split in the GOP is a deep fissure that involves ideology and the very identity of the Republican Party and its platform.

The Democratic Party is not split over ideology in the same way. Sanders' strategy was to pull the party to the left, and he's been successful in that, and in pulling Secretary Clinton more to the left. He forced the conversation during the primaries to topics that stirred up the pot, and actually served the party well, because it changed the dynamics of this year's nomination process. IMO, I don't think Sanders' supporters are going to flock to Trump. I think the Democratic party has a strong strategy in pointing out the long-term goals of the party are more in line with Sanders' long-term goals, and so Sanders' supporters have more to gain with sticking with the Democratic Party.

Sure doesn't look like it ...

Bernie Sanders supporters protest at Hillary Clinton event

THIS is going to be a BIG problem for many Dem voters, as it SHOULD be:

Hey, I love Libertarians all day long, but I have to say...Mary Matalin has been anesthetized far too many times, and it's not just her face that's addled.

The difference will be that he has had amazing accomplishments over the course of his life time, then there's you....

Personal attack ? Since you're a grumpy old guy, you're forgiven and since you're old, you won't be around to see me when I'm 90 years old.

I agree. It's fascinating. Except for 1968 and the Chicago riots, this is the most interesting election cycle I've seen.

Trump has accomplished a lot this week. Got rid of total cancers like the Bushes, Lindsey Graham, Ben Sasse. The GOP is starting to look good guys.

The voters are happy.

Yes indeed he is.

All of Ryan's talk of "unifying the party" and being conservative enough" is all blown out of the window when you consider those that contributed to the environment that led to Trump's rise were all talk and no positive action on that very conservative front.

All of the Republicans that did not do what they said they would as well as Obama, Hillary, Clinton & Co. has brought us down the Trump Road.

Don't think for a moment the anger is all about the Republicans in Office only.
It is the State of the Nation and the ignoring of things important to a great portion of this country.

They were already mad about the things that Libs were doing and holding Republicans to account for not doing something about it.
