Spot on.
Some people love big projects, others don't. He has always loved big projects, and this is another one.

I'm not so sure that is true. However, I would guess most kept quiet about it.

And Trumps tax plan will add $24.5 trillion dollars to our national debt in the next 20 years.
Trump

In the future things like Social Security changes and Medicare changes will themselves increase deficits and national debt growth, and with Trump adding $24.5 trillion dollars to our national debt America may not be able to handle its future Social Security and Medicare obligations.

And what will Trumps tax cuts give regular Americans? The tax cuts will give the richest 1% of Americans 37% of the tax cuts, and it will give the middle 20% of Americans making $50,000 a year 8% of the tax cuts, and the 20% making $32,000 a year will get 4% of the tax cuts.
Donald Trump's Tax Plan Would Cost $12 Trillion | CTJReports

Is it worth risking America's future Social Security and Medicare programs for these tax cuts?
Can you tell me where the wonderful current batch of republicans have been that you pine for that haven't stopped/help contribute to the following deficit amounts, especially since 2012 when they have been in charge of congress? No excuses there since they had lots of power.

US Debt by President: By Dollar and Percent

And this still doesn't include 2016. Do the math....your trump numbers(which may/may not come to be as you know well compromise changes these numbers) vs what indeed occurred are in line with each other. Yet you still "pray"/hope the same flavor of reps, who have had a majority in congress since 2012(!) and lots of power to stop this spending yet didn't, should still lead the way?

And speaking of ssn, medicare, why haven't the current batch of republican clowns you have so much faith in been working on these fixes all these years when they've had a majority in congress since 2012? They are a big part of the problem playing kick the can down the road yet you now apparently want to push this problem all on trump and not give any responsibility to the current people who have been running the show, could have done something about it, but didn't. Amazing.

You know, the more I read some of these posts, it comes to light/becomes obvoius why our country is in the shape it is.

Jeb pledged not once but twice that he would back the nominee, but it turns out that he's not a man of his word - some integrity.

He should have sat this one out from the start and never ran. His father, mother, brother and wife never wanted him to run, he should have listened to them but his ego overrode their dissent. His ego made him believe that he had to run or forever be known as the Bush who never made it to the WH. He obviously thought he'd be a shoe-in simply because he's a Bush. Instead of running he could have sat back on the big pile of ME oil money his brother and dad made during their terms in office, along with the money that grandpa Bush made off of the kick-backs from financial supporting Hitler and his regime.

Oh, you're one of those people who believes the President is in control of the economy? That explains a lot...

I'm not pushing any current problem on Trump. And nothing changes the fact Trump wants to add $24.5 trillion dollars to our national debt in the next 20 years.

Your talking about spending. The following is America's Federal Receipt and Outlay Summary (Receipts=Tax revenues , Outlays=Spending)

Federal Receipt and Outlay Summary | Tax Policy Center

GW Bush was president 2001-2009

2001 spending- $1.862 trillion dollars
2009 spending- $3.517 trillion dollars

GW Bush increased federal spending by $1.6 trillion dollars.

Obama was president 2001-present

2009 spending- $3.517 trillion dollars
2014 spending- $3.506 trillion dollars

Obama reduced federal spending by $11 billion dollars.

And look at the outlays/spending in the source above. For 60 years spending has increased every year, but spending has decreased with Obama. Its hard to believe, but Obama is (literally) the smallest government spender since president Eisenhower.

AND YOU WANT TO ATTACK THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION FOR SPENDING?

Forbes Welcome

Donald J. Trump is a socialist, a liar, and he hates freedom. There is absolutely no reason to vote for him. Jeb Bush has shown tremendous courage as has John Kasich. As for Rob Portman, the only way to stop the radically liberal Clinton/Trump agenda is to help the GOP maintain congress and re-electing Rob Portman is vitally important in that effort.
